About Syracuse
We've listed a few of our favorite restaurants below, but obviously Syracuse offers hundreds of places to eat. In particular, you'll find lots of restaurants downtown in the Armory Square area, which is mainly south of Fayette Street and west of Salina St.

If you need to do any mall shopping, be sure to visit Destiny USA, a huge retail complex that is one of the largest malls in America.

Route Notes

The Empire State Trail route through Syracuse is not the same as the original Erie Canalway route. New York State says that portions of it will open in 2021. We don't exactly when, but it should not be hard finding a route through the city of Syracuse.
